Position indicator for ball valves of Series 6A und 6L - Everything under control
- Available for all of the following ball valves:
Series 6A (2 to 11 ways) and
Series 6L (2 to 5 ways) - Initiator with standardised output
=> can be connected to PLC - Reed switch:(passive solenoid switch)
=> No operating voltage required
Our position Indicators have been tried and tested in industrial applications together with our Series 6A and 6L manually actuated ball valves. These indicators allow you to accurately detect the current position of a ball valve – a common component in complex systems and plants – at any time and even remotely from a control room, for instance.
The position Indicators are available in two distinct models. Position indicator with initiator: Nearly entirely free of wear, the position is detected by an electrically actuated initiator. This model includes a standardised output that can be connected to a programmable logic controller (PLC). Position ndicator with reed switch: This cost-effective model detects the position using a current-independent reed switch, i.e., a magnetic switch that requires no supply voltage. Position indicators for Series 6L ball valves can be retrofitted on location by the operator. Due to their design, Series 6A ball valves can only be retrofitted by EM-TECHNIK.
